Amy E. Coleman is an associate with McGrath McCall, P.C. Amy is a transactional and litigation attorney and focuses her practice on representing financial institutions, business owners, corporate entities, and real estate developers in structuring, documenting, and closing transactions of all types, including commercial finance; real estate; oil and gas, mineral, and renewable resource interests; corporate transactions; and regulatory advice. In addition, Amy also represents clients in commercial contract dispute litigation and arbitration as well as land use, assessment appeal, and other real estate matters.
Amy has significant experience handling real estate and energy transactions, including title research and review. She has spent several years in private practice and in-house at Fortune 500 energy companies reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing recorded documents pertaining to real property, personalty interests and corporate agreements. She has experience representing corporate entities, real estate developers, homeowner’s associations in various matters related to lease, purchase and sale, financing, compliance, and dispute resolution. . In addition, Amy spent several years working in-house at a Fortune 500 company handling federal litigation and arbitration related to commercial logistics contracts.
Amy is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Duquesne Law Alumni Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. Amy obtained her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. While at Duquesne Law, she served as the Editor in Chief of the Business Law Journal and participated in the Federal Litigation Law Clinic where she represented clients at various stages of the federal appellate process. She also graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English. In her spare time, Amy enjoys working out at her local gym and spending time with Coal, her huge Great Dane.
