Andrew G. Dittoe is a senior associate at McGrath McCall, P.C. Andy focuses his practice on representing financial institutions in commercial loan workouts, complex commercial litigation, asset sales, and bankruptcy proceedings.
​
Prior to joining McGrath McCall in 2020, Andy spent several years at a Pittsburgh law firm that specializes in creditors’ rights law, where he gained substantial experience representing secured creditors in commercial loan workouts, debt restructuring and asset recovery. Andy has prosecuted and defended, from inception through trial, a wide variety of legal actions on behalf of lending institutions. He has litigated claims in state and federal courts involving breaches of contracts, lender liability, real estate sale disputes, bank fraud, insurance coverage, design defects, and intellectual property. He has also prosecuted and defended claims in arbitration proceedings conducted under the rules and procedures of the American Arbitration Association.

Andy is licensed to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He has also been admitted pro hac vice to represent clients in actions venued in California and Wyoming.

Prior to attending law school, Andy worked for a large international law firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., assisting its litigation and overseas practices with business development initiatives. Among the attorneys Andy worked with are current U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and now-former U.S. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch.

Andy earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2007 and a B.S. in marketing management from Virginia Tech in 2001. While at Pitt Law, Andy served as the associate articles editor of the Pittsburgh Tax Review.
