Beth L. Slaby is a senior associate attorney with McGrath McCall, P.C. Beth focuses her practice on representing financial institutions in the areas of bankruptcy reorganizations, commercial workouts, creditor’s rights and commercial foreclosures. Beth previously clerked for the Honorable Carlota M. Böhm of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of PA, where she gained valuable experience in complex bankruptcy matters. From 2012-2017, Beth practiced law at an international law firm in the areas of Corporate Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Banking and Financial Services, where she represented secured lenders in bankruptcy, collection and workout proceedings.
Beth attended Bucknell University for her undergraduate degree and DePaul University College of Law for her law degree. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania & the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the ACBA. Beth also participates as a speaker at seminars and continuing legal education classes on bankruptcy and creditor’s rights topics.
In 2022, Beth was elected to the ACBA Judiciary Committee, whose role is to evaluate candidates running for judicial office in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She is also Co-Chair of the ACBA Membership Committee.
In her free time, Beth enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Kevin, her three children, and their Yellow Lab.
